Photographic Recording Task

I have taken the images of pouring in my home. These images are simple shots of pouring into a sink. The camera setting for these few shots is on manual studio setting 1/125 shutter speed. Using the manual studio setting shutter speed images did not captured the pouring very well. So I have to tried to developed my shutter speed skills.
When I shot the water using the normal flash you can see the water very clearly, however the background is quite distracting so I will try to find a more suitable background like a white backdrop in the studio.

This image is very distraction as you can see the sink. I need to remember about the location is the most important thing to take the images of pouring. It is focusing on the sink than the liquid so I have to be careful about focusing it.

This image is focus on the liquid than the background which is better and clear. I like the way the reflection on the liquid and the shapes of the liquid which makes the image interesting and energtic. On the other hand, the background is still distraction so to improve the image, I would take images in the studio or the field with bright blue sky.

In this image, as you can see the bubbles on the water which makes the image energetic and interesting but still the background is very distraction. I had use normal auto setting but I need to use shutter speed to capture the poured clearly and focused.

I poured juices into the glass, you can see bubbles inside the glass. These images are not really perfect because of the lighting, the background and the composition is too simple. As I need to improve my skills on the location such as lighting, and the background. And also I need to keep practice on shutter speed so I would know how to take images of liquid/pouring.

These images are taken with the same settings, this time I had used china not glass and you can see different shapes in the pouring liquid. The liquid I feel stands out from china cup.

These images are really bright, vibrant and colourful. The nail varnish is poured downwards which creates a more interesting image. I have edited this image on Photoshop to make it more dynamic and more bold. I used a manual speed zoom onto the nail varnish which creates more movements and depth in the overall image.

I love the way the nail polish on the nails while it is pouring. I want to do something different and I want to explore different types of pouring like solid food, milkshakes etc. The setting I used studio manual setting. I put the white backdrop to make it more brighter rather than using the black backdrop. This makes this image more effective and different.

Below this image, I love the way they holding the nail bottle while the nail polish are poured. And also I love the way the thickness big to small. I had crop this image to make it more interesting and more vibrant. I had use this image on Photoshop to adjust by using brightness and contrast.

In this image, you can see the reflection on the nail polish which makes the image more effective and more interesting. The two studio lights are near to nail polish so it would get reflection on it. And again, I had use studio manual setting.

As you can see the liquid is waving down to the out of focus and I put the blank space on the bottom of the image because I want to try to do something different.

The next two images are really passion as they are really sparkling which makes the image more interesting and more effective.

These images are not quite clear and not quite interesting enough. I tried to do different types of pouring. In the first image, you can see the water thrown from the cup and you can see different patterns forming in the liquid. I cropped this image to try make it more dynamic and more effective.

In this image, I have used a low shutter speed but I realised I have to use a high shutter speed in order to capture the liquid clearly and in focus. It is very difficult to take these images because this is something new to me so I need to practice on my skills and my shutter speed.

In this image, the water is splashes onto the car which creates energetic and vibrant movement. The colour red changes when the liquid is poured which makes the photograph much brighter and more textured. This setting is low shutter speed.

In these images, you can see the thick acrylic paint is being poured and is mixing different colours. It is very bright, vibrant and energetic.

The paint is thick and therefore it is easier to wait for the paint to drop off the paintbrush, the difficult with this image which is the top is focus and the bottom is not in focus. However, I liked this photograph because the both colours we used and also this is suggest a soft, delicate image.

The water pouring down with the sun behind creates a more effective image. You can see different patterns and shapes of the pouring liquid. I feel the image shows a natural event where rain cascades over the leaves. In order to achieve this image where the leaves and the pouring are the main focus of the photograph I used high shutter speed.

In order to create the image, I used high shutter speed which allows you to see the liquid and the motion of the liquid very clearly. What I really like about this image is the fact that I captured the reflection of the sky in the bottle and the pouring liquid.

There next few photographs I decided to try to capture the brightness of the sun illuminating the pouring water. Again, I used high shutter speed in order to get the liquid in focus.

This time rather than pouring liquid, I threw the liquid to get movement, to get reflection and energy. This image is very motivated and vibrant.

I like the format of this image because the liquid is thick and changing the shape allowing us to see the sky though the liquid.

This image I find it very interesting because you have to look carefully for the liquid, it looks the liquid is dripping rather than pouring which creates different shapes and the feeling of finishing coming to the end something.
