In the next series of photographs I experimented with the background colour as blue, red and orange in order for the milk to stand out in the photograph. Again, I have used studio settings and the focus manually. I changed the colour of the milk within the backgrounds again to experimented but I feel the first milk with the red background is the best. It looks clean, stark and crisp within it modern and interesting finish. Some of these images quite distraction as you can see the glass and also there are out of focus which is most difficult to take a clear image of poured. I had tried to take many images as possible but they all out of focus so I have to do my own manual focus. So before taking photographs of the pouring, the finger will have to be pointed towards the camera then I had focus it on the camera. Afterwards, the most important thing to use tripod so I don't have to change the focus every time when I move.
The above two photographs I had play around on Photoshop to make the image interesting and vibrant. So I turn them into auto contrast and it turns out looks energetic. They almost look like a straw which makes them audience think what is it looks like, is it pouring, is it milkshake or the straw which makes they having conversation about the image and trying to explore what is it.
The next two photographs were not successful because the background colour was too bright and the liquid not bright enough giving dull and uninteresting image. The chocolate milkshake did not make any patterns, it is too thick. I had learnt I shouldn't use milkshake because it is too thick and also it doesn't create any effective patterns or giving the audience thinking. This is very too dull.
The next three photographs, I had use the jug with the sharp corner to make the milk pattern interesting and effective. Some of these images are distraction as there is glass on it. I should crop them so the target audience would think when this pouring goes to, is it goes to the bowl of cereal, or is it goes to the cup of tea/coffee so they would give them creating their imaginative and communication to talk to other people. To improve my skills, I should develop more different types of liquid such as custard, double cream. So I can see different types of pouring there and it is interesting to see different shapes or patterns or even different type of thicknesses.
The next two images are coffee poured. As you can see there are some light on the coffee poured, it creates the image effective and interesting.I had moved the two studio lights to the closer to the liquid so they would get reflection.
This image is vibrant, sharp focus and dynamic. I really like this image because when I look this image, I feel 'wow' as you can see the background is blue into white which creates the image effective and also you quite can see through the liquid. This is coffee without milk. I like the way the reflection on the poured and also I like the way poured from the glass. I had use the studio manual and also I had developed my skills improving the focusing. Now, I know how to focus on the liquid.
I don't like this image as this image doesn't really give me feel anything. This image are quite dull and boring. Whereas, I like the bottle with the bright red patterns on it so it's very catchy.
